Get Permanent Teeth in a Day
You can now have your permanent teeth placed in just one day, thanks to the innovative All-on-4® technique, which allows for a full arch of teeth to be placed on 4 dental implants, instead of the 12 usually required in conventional implant techniques. All-on-4® makes it possible for you to regain the confidence of smiling with permanent teeth, in most cases without having to go through painful and time-consuming procedures, such as bone grafting.
The All-on-4® Advantage
Tooth loss affects many aspects of everyday life. Some people who wear dentures find they’re unable to continue participating in activities such as swimming or singing. Others complain of sore gums from their dentures. There are also those who avoid social situations, including dating, because they’re embarrassed about wearing dentures. With All-on-4, you’ll no longer be hindered by the challenges associated with conventional dentures, such as the risk of them moving when you speak or eat, or the inconvenience of having to use messy denture adhesives.

Implants with Removable Over-Dentures
Removable implant over-dentures deliver greater denture stability and retention, giving you greater confidence in your smile. Designed to fit on top of dental implants, removable over-dentures significantly reduce denture sore spots and can considerably restore your biting force. Implant over-dentures provide our patients with a more secure-fitting denture that is removable for easy daily cleaning by the patient.
Ask your denturist about the difference between implant-supported and implant-retained over-dentures.
Visit our contact page today and ask how you can improve your smile and boost your confidence with removable implant over-dentures.
You don’t have to stop smiling because you’ve lost all your natural teeth. Complete dentures can improve the appearance of your smile and are custom-fabricated to your liking. Come in and talk to us about complete dentures that are sure to make you smile again. Be sure to ask about the difference between precision and standard dentures.
Complete dentures require a series of approximately 4 to 5 appointments from start to finish, plus a “post-insertion” or follow-up appointment to make sure you're adapting well to your new teeth.
Complete dentures should be replaced every 5 to 8 years. At your annual oral examination appointment, your denturist checks your gums, oral tissues and the fit and wear of your dentures. Your denturist will inform you when it’s time for new dentures or a denture reline.
After losing one or more teeth, your remaining natural teeth can start moving into the adjacent empty space, which can cause bone loss around the root of existing teeth. Wearing a partial denture will fill gaps where a natural tooth might naturally migrate.
Ask your denturist about the difference between temporary acrylic partials and cast metal partials. Visit our contact page today to request more information about partial dentures.
If your teeth are compromised or failing and you need to have them removed, you don’t need to live with missing teeth and a self-conscious smile while waiting for your gums to heal.
With immediate or transitional dentures, you can have a temporary denture made ahead of time before your teeth are extracted. This temporary fixture is then inserted immediately by your dentist after the teeth are removed.
With an immediate or transitional denture, healing can take place without you having to take time off work or go around without teeth. After having your teeth removed and your temporary denture placed, you will experience what we call a “healing phase.” During this healing period—approximately 3 to 6 months, depending on how many teeth you have removed—we will assess your mouth regularly and insert temporary soft liners into your denture in order to facilitate a more comfortable fit while your mouth is changing. At the end of the healing phase, we will begin creating your new smile. This process can be followed for both complete and partial dentures.
Come and visit us before having your teeth removed, and let our professional team help to advise and guide you.
Restore the fit of your denture by having regular relines. Over time your gums shrink, creating space between your denture and gums. This can cause your denture to feel loose, and you may notice more food getting trapped underneath your denture or more sore spots on your gums. Most denture wearers have a reline every other year. But since bone loss varies from one individual to another, for some patients a once-a-year reline is necessary. Depending on each case, we would recommend either a hard or soft liner. For your convenience, we can reline your denture for you while you wait in our private waiting room. Call our office for a complimentary assessment of your denture.
Whether it’s a cracked denture, a denture tooth that has come off, or a broken clasp, we can fix the problem quickly and effectively. In fact, you won’t even have to go without your denture; in most cases, we can complete the repair while you wait in our private waiting room.
Snoring is more than just a noisy and disturbing sleeping behaviour; it can be linked to a serious health condition. This condition, called sleep apnea, causes those afflicted to stop breathing several times in the night, often for a minute or longer. Sleep apnea can lead to complications such as high blood pressure, irregular heartbeat or heart failure. It also causes daytime fatigue and memory impairment, hampers work performance and decreases sexual drive.
Nosi Carrs Denture & Implant Solutions, we can provide you with a custom-fitted oral appliance designed to stop snoring and sleep apnea. You—and your partner—will sleep better, and you’ll be reducing the health risks associated with sleep apnea.
